This blog is dedicated to all things ACK!  Join me as I explore all sorts of nooks-and-crannies relating to this magical island 30 miles at sea:  beaches and water sports, natural conservation areas, restaurants and shops, architecture, interior design, and historic preservation, island-style gardening and landscaping, "Nantucket Personalities", island news and events, "in-the-know" insights, and easy ways to carry the island spirit with you everyday, regardless of how far you might be from 02554 (or 02564)!  Maybe you would call it a lifestyle blog?  I prefer to think of it as a "state-of-mind" blog.  Nantucket holds a special place in my heart and I look forward to sharing her endless charms with you through this blog.  My goal is to publish once a day.  Much of the time, that post might simply be a handful of beautiful pictures with a good Nantucket-y quote.  I hope for one or two "detailed" posts per week, hopefully more!  Suggestions, questions, and comments are appreciated and readily encouraged.
